About Us
About Gem Labs
At Gem Labs, we are driven by a visionary commitment to advancing scientific understanding and innovation in the field of bioactive compounds. Our mission extends beyond traditional research—we are dedicated to empowering research and development organizations with cutting-edge tools that accelerate discovery and enhance precision.

1
Liposome Construction
12 ONGOING RESEARCH PROJECTS
Liposome construction refers to the precise engineering of microscopic, spherical vesicles composed of lipid bilayers. These liposomes act as powerful delivery vehicles designed to encapsulate active compounds, such as cannabinoids or nutrients, ensuring their stability and targeted release within the body. By mimicking natural cell membranes, liposomes enhance bioavailability and absorption, unlocking maximum therapeutic potential. At Gem Labs, our expertise in liposome construction guarantees cutting-edge formulations that deliver potency and precision, elevating your wellness experience to new heights.

2
Modified Atmospheric Packaging
5 ONGOING RESEARCH PROJECTS
Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) is a cutting-edge technology that revolutionizes product preservation by altering the composition of gases surrounding the product inside its packaging. Instead of normal air, MAP replaces the atmosphere with a precise blend of gases—typically oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen—to significantly extend shelf life, maintain freshness, and protect quality. This powerful method slows down microbial growth and oxidation, making it an essential tool in industries like food, pharmaceuticals, and hemp products. At Gem Labs, we recognize MAP as a game-changer that guarantees your products arrive in peak condition, delivering unmatched reliability and superior quality every time.

3
Drug Discovery & Delivery
8 ONGOING RESEARCH PROJECTS
In addition to studying bioactive compounds, we are invested in developing research tools for other R & D companies. We have optimism that we will become independent of third-party testing Via new ways of testing.
Currently we have begun exploring the development of Anandamide Enzyme Research Kits (AERK), a comprehensive and innovative research tool designed for laboratories and educational institutions focused on cannabinoid research and enzymatic processes. This kit would allow users to study the enzymatic breakdown of Anandamide and its structural analogs.

In addition to the listed projects, we are interested in studying the FAAH enzymatic breakdown of Anandamide including structural analogs of anandamide, such as arachidonyl-2′-chloroethylamide (ACEA) ACEA. Instead of using common FAAH inhibitors such as Phenylmethylsulphonyl Fluoride, we will be deploying naturally occurring bioactive compounds (for example macamides such as N-alkylamide N-benzyl-(9Z,12Z)-octadecadienamide) being one, derived from Peruvian Maca.
